Global 3D design agency RenderThat has teamed up with Chaos as well as award sponsors HUION, RebusFarm, and 3Delight to host the RenderThat Revolution Award. This competition celebrates and promotes creativity in 3D design. Our contest brief allows you to explore your skills in an innovative way.

We worked with our sponsor HUION to create a unique and exciting brief:
Use the provided OBJ of HUION Kamvas Studio 16 and your 3D rendering capabilities to visualize this tablet in your own way, taking inspiration from the theme "Revolution". The focus of your submission should be the tablet. Your entry should be one rendered image. (Animation will not be accepted)
The software and tools you use to implement your design are completely up to you.
In addition to your submission, please submit a brief statement (250 words maximum) explaining the idea behind your submission, the execution of your submission, including the tools used, and how your design relates to the brief.

Our jury
To select our winners, we have assembled a group of judges who are some of the best in the industry. With a wealth of knowledge in 3D, lifestyle and business, we've made sure your design ends up in the best hands.
David W. is the founding partner and CEO of content production company and competition organizer RenderThat, which he started nearly a decade ago in 2013. Since then, the company has grown from just 3 employees to now over 120.
Annika Maar is the founder of Happy Broccoli Games, a Berlin-based game company that released a successful debut with "Kraken Academy!!!" and is currently working on its second release. Annika is responsible for the vision, art and writing of the games at Broccolii Games.
Creative Director at CROLLA LOWIS, leads an interdisciplinary branding team and in-house motion unit. With over a decade of experience as an art director, motion designer and 3D artist, he has worked for clients such as the German Red Cross, Cineplex and Continental.
Massimo Tortora has been in production for 9 years, after working in agencies for 4 years, and has been working on the client side at LIDL since 2016. Massimo loves the aura of a brilliant idea and a perfect execution.
With a detailed background in architecture and architectural visualization, Yane has created images and films for world-renowned architects such as Zaha Hadid and Norman Foster, as well as famous product and automotive brands such as Land Rover, Honda, Rivian and others. For Yane, CGI has ultimately become a passion and a way of life.

One day, I caught a glimpse of his creativity inaction. Pen in hand, he sketched his soaring dreams, adorning himself with anarray of superhero costumes, his imagination taking flight among the stars.

The birth of a revolution through the evolution of human perception. Striving for a big and bright destiny, a person decides to demonstrate his individuality by leaving prints on tablets. This person who loves life - obeys only himself, eventually becoming free from the canons and the repetition of what has already been done.
The red color used in the work represents passion, strength, and success. It's shocking and completely captivating. People who have a natural craving for this shade have such character traits as leadership and self-confidence, they are always attracted to something new and unknown.
The composition is based on the golden ratio in the form of a spiral, the essence of which is mathematics. Based on mathematical laws, the beauty and harmony that we observe in the world around us is clear evidence of not an accidental, but a meaningful, conscious creation of the world.

The graphic tablet itself is presented in its entirety, showing off its state-of-the-art features that provide users with the freedom to express their creativity. It is placed in the center and is illuminated more to draw more attention to it. This image highlights the revolutionary capabilities and potential of the Huion graphic tablet.
